đź“… No School - May 26
đź‘• Community Closet
The Equity Committee is starting a community closet for our families who need support. Check out this Video and Amazon Wishlist to see the types of things we need. If your family has needs, fill out this survey to see how our community can help you: Family Needs Survey. Hygiene items should be unopened and can be dropped off in the office for Mrs. Sweeney or Ms. Bierbrauer. If you order on our Amazon wishlist, it will be sent to the school, or you can send it with your students, or drop it off!
Thank you!
Hannah Bierbrauer & Sara Sweeney, Equity Committee Co-Chairs

Important End-of-Year and Upcoming School Year Reminders
📌 7th Grade Immunization Requirement:
- Students entering 7th grade are due for updated immunizations before the November 2025 deadline. You should have received an email with specific information, but if not, please note that TDaP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) and Meningococcal vaccines are required for school attendance. Please get in touch with your child’s healthcare provider to schedule these immunizations if they haven’t already been completed. Please send us a copy of your immunization, or email to let us know that you have had them.
đź’Š End-of-Year Medication Pickup:
If your child has medications in the Health Office (prescription or over-the-counter), be on the lookout for a Medication Processing Permission Slip coming home in their backpack soon. This form lets you choose how you’d like us to handle the medication:
Pick up the medication(s) from the Health Office on or before June 17th.
Allow medication(s) to be sent home with your student.
Give permission for the Health Office to dispose of medication(s).
As always, contact the Health Office directly with any questions.
Thank you for another great year!

Free Summer Meals for Kids – Find a Site Near You!
Summer is just around the corner, and we want to make sure every child has access to nutritious meals while school is out.
Hunger Impact Partners, in collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), is working to spread the word about free summer meal programs available to all kids and teens up to age 18—no registration or ID required at most locations.
To make it easy for families to find meal sites, we’re excited to share a helpful tool: the Free Meals for Kids mobile app.
What is the Free Meals for Kids App?
The Free Meals for Kids App uses your phone’s GPS to show nearby locations where kids can receive free meals throughout the summer. You’ll see:
âś… Schools, parks, libraries, and community centers offering meals
âś… Dates and times of meal service
âś… Directions and distance to each location
âś… Information on whether registration is needed (most do not!)
The app is updated daily to provide the most current information, and includes other helpful links for families through the Resources+Food button—connecting you to support programs like United Way 211, SNAP, WIC, MFIP, and Hunger Solutions.
We’re also helping promote SunBucks (Summer EBT), which provides additional food support for families.
