It was a very special start to the school year! For the first time in years, and perhaps ever, all of Millard's staff came together at Buell Stadium to begin the year. It was fantastic to see nearly 3,000 dedicated staff together in one place.

When you receive a text message from the district or your schools this year it will be coming from a ten digit number rather than a short code. Our provider made the change this summer to follow the industry's best practices.

The number is 402-701-5522. You may want to note this number so you recognize it as Millard when it appears on your phone.

Please note that any emergency messages will still come from a short code for now.

• Millard North High School Orchestra Teacher Debbie Martinez has been named a Quarterfinalist for the 2026 Music Educator Award by the Recording Academy and GRAMMY Museum. The award honors impactful music educators in the United States.
• The National School Public Relations Association awarded Millard Multimedia Content Creator Jamie Scott an Award of Excellence for the Millard Excellence and Opportunity video and an Award of Merit for the Ignite series of videos.
• Beadle Middle School Math Teacher and Activities Director Tassandra (Tassie) Little has been nominated for the Nebraska Women's Athletic Leadership Alliance Athletic Director of the Year Award.
• Beadle Middle School Jobs for America's Graduates teacher Megan Linnell has received the JAG Nebraska Leadership Outstanding Specialist Award.
