Principal's Message

Hello Lancers,

I hope this newsletter finds you having a wonderful summer and excited about the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. With the reconfiguring of our school boundaries, I’m looking forward to meeting those students that were attending other high schools last year. Due to the new boundaries, our projected enrollment is approximately 3250 students, which is 200 hundred less students than we had last year but still makes us the largest high school in the district by over 200 students.

This coming school year we will continue to focus on those things that are most

important for our students. With respect to our school culture we will emphasize

our Lancer Way that asks students to be responsible, be respectful, and be safe and

to always be their best. Academically, our teachers will continue to teach the

State’s B.E.S.T. standards, preparing students for high school graduation.

Finally, our systems will continue to focus on the smooth, efficient running of our school

and in keeping everyone on campus safe.

I encourage you to read through this newsletter for other valuable information for

this coming school year. Enjoy what’s left of your summer and we will see you

soon.

GO LANCERS!

In order to create an HCTB account, students MUST be registered to a regular or ESE bus route:

  • Regular routes require Register Your Ride

  • ESE routes require a transportation request through your school (if not already assigned to an ESE route)

  • The Student SIS PIN is required to add a student to HCTB, accessible through the SIS Parent Gateway

Step-by-Step directions for downloading the mobile application and registering for HCTB can be found here and on the District Transportation website.
