Principal's Message
November Updates
Good morning WBS families,
I hope this message finds you all doing well and enjoying the cooler temps and fun activities that fall brings. It is hard to believe that it is November already! Last Friday, we had so much fun at our Halloween parade and classroom socials. Our students looked great and they enjoyed seeing all of the fun costumes across the school during our parade. We are busy compiling a video to share out with you which will highlight all of the Halloween fun!
In addition to our Halloween and fall festivities, several parents have been in volunteering for our Field Day Shorts and Book Fair events. We thank you for your support on this smaller scale this year and will continue to reach out with all of the volunteer opportunities we can to include you in these fun events.
November also brings an opportunity for us to connect with you during parent teacher conferences. We look forward to sharing your child's progress with you in all areas of their school day. Please be sure to schedule a conference with your child's classroom teacher. Parent/Teacher conferences will take place during the following days and times:
- Monday 11/24 - 8:30-3:00
- Tuesday 11/25 - 8:30-3:00
- Wednesday 11/26 - 8:30-10:30
Please reach out to your child's classroom teacher if you have not scheduled your conference. Thank you for your partnership in this process. We couldn't do it without you!
Lastly, I hope to see you at our November Home & School Meeting. This will take place on Tuesday November 11th in the Library at 7:00 PM.
Have a wonderful week and please reach out if you have questions. We are here to help!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Susan Hadfield, Principal
