Thursday, our 4th and 5th grade students will go on a walking field trip to the Depot for this year's Heritage Days. If a permission slip has not already been sent home, one will come home Monday. Please sign it and send it back ASAP. This field trip is a free trip.

Fall Picture Day is coming fast. Mark your calendars for October 4.

Our teachers are in full swing with setting up and holding conferences. Thank you to all that have already attended. This is a very important time for building relationships, learning about your child through the data we have and sharing what you know about your child that we may not. Together, we can work as a team to help your child have the best, most productive year possible. Please get signed up for a conference today if you have not already done so.

Our third graders have a field trip planned on October 16&17 (3 class one day, 3 classes the next). Your child's teacher will be sending home specific information. Please keep an eye out for this information and be sure to return the permission slip and funds on time so that they can plan appropriately.

October 6 is a professional development day. Please plan for child care as school will be closed this day.

We will be selling school t-shirts/hoodies & House shirts beginning today through October 5. Order forms will come home today with students.

Last week was a great week at BES. We are looking forward to another incredible week. The last day of 1st Nine Weeks is October 5. Thank you for your continued support and for all you do to help your child succeed. Please continue to read with and study with him or her. If you have not already met with your child's teacher, please set up a conference to discuss more ways you can support you child at home.
