Round Up Review
A message from the Scott Elementary Administrators
December 6, 2024
December Themed Days
In December we will have themed dress up days for anyone that would like to participate! We wanted to share those days with you early in case you needed time to plan them out.
Holiday Party Schedule
We are excited to welcome families to attend our holiday parties! Every visitor to campus must sign in at the front office to receive a visitor badge. If you would like to skip the line on party day there will be times available prior to get your sticker printed off early. See the flier attached for all the information!
Attendance Incentive for December
Students with perfect attendance from December 2nd-20th will be entered into a drawing for prizes! We have multiple prizes so multiple students have a chance to WIN!
Parent Survey
We are always looking for feedback to grow as a campus. With us being a Capturing Kid's Hearts Showcase campus we use their mid-year survey to get a read on how things are going.
We ask that you take a couple minutes to fill this out - https://iheartckh.com/squrl/5v6smc5n
Thank you!
Lost and Found
Our Lost and Found is exploding with missing items! Please have your children take time to look and see if they are missing a jacket, water bottle, or lunchbox! We will be donating them at Christmas time!
See you in January!
Holiday Break December 21st-January 7th
We are so excited to welcome students back on Wednesday, January 8th! We hope y'all have a restful holiday break!
PTO News
Volunteers Needed!
As a gift to our incredible Anita Scott staff this holiday season, PTO has volunteered to cover one recess and the lunch monitoring on December 16th.
If you can volunteer your time, please sign up for any spot! We need a lot of hands on deck for this task so if you can cover multiple, please do!

Holiday Grams
When the PTO gets involved, children benefit. When YOU get involved with the PTO, the child who benefits most is YOURS.
Your PTO dollars are spent supporting our students and teachers! Our $5 Family Memberships are vital to our yearly income and programs for our students. A few things that our $5 Family Memberships go towards are:
Teacher Classroom Requests
Field Day Activities
Camp Grady Spruce Sponsorships
Spring program for our students
Enrichment p grades K-5
Staff appreciation
For memberships purchased and donations made by December 1, we will be offering a special incentive! The classroom with the highest memberships purchased in ratio to the number of student, that teacher will be rewarded with a very fun prize.
Attendance Procedures
3 days unexcused absence - parents will have to sign an attendance contract
7 days unexcused absence - parents will have to attend an attendance committee meeting
10 days unexcused absence - truancy will be filed with the county
Please send in those notes so that we can get those unexcused absences changed to excused! At this age attendance is not a student responsibility but a parent responsibility so please ensure your children are at school when they are healthy!
