Hoyne Happenings
Hello Families,
I hope everyone enjoyed the long holiday weekend. It is hard to believe we are in the final three weeks of the school year. As the end of year approaches we have many fun activities and events. This Friday is one of our staff and students favorite events, field day. Please see the details below. As a reminder only parent volunteers are able to attend this event, no spectators.
Today Derby visited our Respect Circle to share the exciting things they can look forward to. They also spent time in 1st grade and 5th grade classrooms, it was a great experience for everyone!
Have a fantastic week!

Chromebook Returns - Due by May 29
Please ensure that your child’s Chromebook and charger are returned to Pembroke no later than Friday, May 29. All devices will undergo upgrades over the summer, and returning students will be issued a new Chromebook when school resumes in the fall.
Chromebooks and chargers may be returned directly to your child’s teacher. Thank you for your participation on this!
Gift Crowd - End of the Year Gifts
The Pembroke PTA has created a GiftCrowd web page, linked here, where families can make a contribution toward a group gift card for their homeroom and/or specials teachers. Families can click on a teacher’s name, make a contribution via debit/credit card, and write a personal greeting to the teacher.
This gift crowd link will end on Thursday, June 11th at 9:00am. At that time, teachers will receive a notification about their gift and will be able to read the greetings. Each teacher will be able to choose how they want to use their gift by redeeming the collected amount into more than 130 types of gift cards, including an option for a Visa gift card.
Lost & Found!
Pembroke Lost & Found will be donated at the end of the school year. Please be sure to check out the Lost & Found ASAP!
