ROOSEVELT BEARS NEWSLETTER

Dear Families,

Happy October!

It’s been a joy to see our students settle into their classrooms and begin working on being incredible Roosevelt students! From morning greetings to afternoon goodbyes, the energy in our hallways is full of positivity and progress, focusing on our mission of Compassion, Respect, and Growth for Every Bear, Everywhere.

October brings many fun and meaningful learning opportunities for our students. This month, classes will explore seasonal themes, dive deeper into reading and math routines, and continue building strong friendships and classroom communities. We’re also looking forward to several special events, including a Trunk or Treat on October 23rd and our first recognition assembly on the same day.

As the weather cools, please make sure your child comes to school dressed for the season—we’ll continue to enjoy outdoor recess. Also, be on the lookout for information about parent-teacher conferences coming later this month. Conferences will be held October 27th-31st, with early release days all week. These meetings are a wonderful way to celebrate your child’s progress and set goals for the months ahead.

We truly appreciate your support at home. Whether it’s reading together in the evening, checking backpacks for notes and homework, or just asking about your child’s day, your involvement makes a big difference.

Thank you for being such an important part of our school family. Let’s have a fantastic October, and don't hesitate to reach out to our office with questions. Go Bears!

Sincerely,

Ms. Miller
