As we gear up for another winning year at Pecan Springs Elementary, I want to take a moment to share how blessed and elated we are to have our scholars, staff, and families back in the game — ready to train, grow, and rise together. ¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a un nuevo año escolar, el inicio de una emocionante temporada de aprendizaje y crecimiento! Espero que sus vacaciones de verano les hayan brindado la oportunidad de descansar, recargar energías y reconectar con sus seres queridos. Mientras nos preparamos para otro año exitoso en la Escuela Primaria Pecan Springs, quiero compartir lo bendecidos y felices que estamos de tener a nuestros estudiantes, personal y familias de vuelta en la acción, listos para entrenar, crecer y progresar juntos. Este año, adoptamos con orgullo el lema: "¡Un equipo. Un sueño. Juntos, nos elevamos!"

Meet the Teacher — Friday, August 15 | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Come meet your child’s teacher, tour the building, and help us kick off the new school year!

First Day of School — Tuesday, August 19, 2025

• 7:15 a.m. Doors open
• 7:40 a.m. Breakfast (in the cafe) ends
• 7:40 a.m. Start of the school day
• 7:40 a.m. Tardy Bell-Your scholar is TARDY/late
• 3:10 p.m. Scholars are dismissed

Be KIND to our neighbors and use the streets as noted on the map. Thank you advance for your assistance and cooperation in this regard.

Safety First! Drop-off and Pick-up School Protocols

Students who are car riders are expected to be dropped off at the main entrance on Dubuque Lane.

During morning drop off, parents and parent guardians will be allowed to:

• walk their child(ren) up to the designated campus entrances/security gates.

During after school pick up, parents and parent guardians will be allowed to:

• pick up their child(ren) at the designated campus pick-up areas/security gates.

Due to safety reasons, parents and parent guardians will NOT be allowed to walk children to their classroom.

To enhance our school's security and to expedite arrival & dismissal, we are asking all parents/guardians to:

• remain in your vehicles for arrival and dismissal
• place the Safe School Tag on your dashboard on the right side

When the doors open at 7:00 a.m., scholars will be greeted and escorted into our building and guided to their classroom or cafeteria.

When school is dismissed at 3:10 p.m., we will escort your scholar either to your vehicle or to a given check point.
