A SUMMER NOTE FROM DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT DR. KALIA REYNOLDS
What skills do we want every WCASD student to walk away with? Deputy Superintendent Kalia Reynolds shares a quick video update on our Portrait of a Graduate work, shaped by over 4,400 voices across our district.
Based on early input, the top skills include adaptability, critical thinking, communication, and more. These aren’t finalized yet, but we’re excited to see such strong alignment across our community!
As always, thank you for walking the WCASD way with us!

WCASD WAY MAKERS: CELEBRATING HEART
This year, we proudly celebrated more than 30 WCASD Way Makers, staff members who go above and beyond to support students, build community, and lead with heart.
From hallway welcomes to quiet moments of encouragement, these team members reflect what it truly means to walk the WCASD Way. Their actions (often behind the scenes) have lifted others and shaped a stronger school community.
Thanks for inspiring us every step of the way!
CREATIVE MOMENTS THAT KEEP US BELIEVIN'

Greystone Elementary's SOCKS Day
5th-grade students at Greystone Elementary School stepped up and laced up to make a difference in their community by organizing and participating in a Mini-Bubble Walk fundraiser to benefit The Arc of Chester County. This initiative was organized as part of Greystone’s S.O.C.K.S Day (Serving Our Community Kids Style).
Over 70 students and their teachers equipped with bottles of bubbles and Arc of Chester County sunglasses walked and/or ran the campus of Greystone Elementary for 30 minutes.
