Educator Highlights!
Introducing Ms. Bronkhorst!
What I enjoy most about teaching English is creating a space where students learn to bridge the gap between page and reality, discovering how the themes within fictional worlds reflect the world around them.
Beyond the classroom, my life at DKHS is delightfully busy. I serve as the advisor for both Student Council and Yearbook, and I am deeply involved in our athletics program as the head coach for High School Girls Flag Football as well as Middle School Volleyball and Basketball.
When I step away from the books and the court, you will almost always find me outdoors embracing nature in every season alongside my Golden Retriever, Nelli. I look forward to exploring new stories, perspectives, and ideas alongside my students this year! Go Panthers!

Allied Health Update!
Our Allied Health students are hitting the ground running this school year! They’ve already tackled essential healthcare fundamentals, including proper hand hygiene, putting on and removing personal protective equipment (PPE), and bloodborne pathogen safety. To top it off, students have officially earned their American Heart Association First Aid certifications!
We are also incredibly grateful to the DKEF for funding our recent grant! Students have been hard at work unboxing and organizing new equipment to build a realistic, hands-on simulation lab. Check out our HOSA (Future Healthcare Professionals) members putting their skills to the test with manual blood pressure checks—and a special thank you to Mr. Bucska for being such a great sport as our mock patient!
