Hello Families!
The next two weeks are jam-packed with lots of fun here at school! We will be wrapping up our literacy unit about living things this next week. In Math, we will be working on measurement.
B.E.E Folders/Homework
It is important that your child brings their BEE Folder to school every day! The book that your child brings home in their folder, needs to come back to school every day because we use it in their reading group!
Fun Run
Grab your CTE spirit and get ready to cheer on our first-graders at our annual Fun Run on Tuesday, September 15th. Students will be running as many laps as they can around the field to raise money for our school. Every student will receive a fun run t-shirt. Please make sure your child brings a water bottle. We would love for our grown-ups to come watch us run. Our time is from 9:00 to 9:40.
Johnny Appleseed Day
Thursday, September 24th, is Johnny Appleseed Day! We would love to make homemade applesauce, but we need your help!
If you can donate the following, that would be amazing:
10 apples (red) cut and peeled
2 cup brown sugar
26 bowls
26 spoon
Also, we would like to encourage kiddos to wear their favorite flannel. See the picture of me above to see how to dress the part. :)
Field Day
The 1st-6th-grade field day is on September 25th. More information will be coming soon!
