St. Teresa School Parent Calendar

Letter from the Principal

Tiger Families,

We had a great week here at St. Teresa School! To kick off the week, students gathered in the gym on Monday morning to pray for the school year. When we pray together we are stronger together!

This Saturday is the Parish Picnic. Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to volunteer, we truly could not be successful without you! If you forgot to sign up or are looking for ways to help, we still have a few spots open. Check out the links below to get involved!

Tomorrow, August 23rd is a Teacher Institute Day. School will not be in session for students, however, set up for the Parish Picnic will begin at 8:15am. Those helping to set up please park at St. Teresa Church or the parish center.

Please ensure you are turning in all the necessary student paperwork to the office. All forms need to be turned in ASAP. If you are turning in a medication form, this is a friendly reminder that a doctor must sign it, to include over the counter items.

Planning on volunteering or going on a field trip this year, that's great, we love our volunteers. Ensure you meet the October 4th deadline to turn in all volunteer applications for the 2024-2025 school year.

As always, we thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support, and partnership. TIGERS LEAD THE WAY!

Sincerely,

Nicole Green

Principal

PARISH PICNIC

St. Teresa Parish Picnic is SATURDAY! In order to prepare for the church picnic, we ask that parents consider bringing their child to the school office entry area around 8:15am on August 23rd to help set up. Kevin or Ginny Bouse (618-410-1047/618-973-4378) will be at St. Teresa School to supervise and guide students on tasks that need to be completed. Students are normally finished around 11:15am and go to Cutters for lunch. Please remind your children that working at the CHURCH PICNIC is a GREAT WAY TO GET VOLUNTEER HOURS. Any parents who would like to stay and help set up, it would be greatly appreciated. Please reach out to Kevin or Ginny Bouse for needed shifts. Teardown is Sunday, August 25th at 8am and usually takes less than 3 hours.
