Our ELD team hosted a Pizzella Night, in which they provided important information on the state test, AZELLA. Thank you parents who attended this event and to our ELD teachers, Ms. Clark, Mrs. Ochoa, and Ms. Arvizu, for hosting such a successful event!🤩🍕

During our monthly PTO, we discussed school data, recognized our students; Scorpion of the Month, Student of the Month, and Resilient Cobra, for their hard work and achievements!🌟 Shout out to our ELA team and their students for showcasing their projects and class work that they have been working!

Agustin is a very talented artist in my class. He is always on top of his art projects and is always willing to help out others in need. He shows motivation and is always eager to learn new art concepts or techniques. He is a very respectful student towards his classmates and towards his art supplies. He always follows the three R's and reflects true Cobra Pride!

Gabriel is a smart, thoughtful, and kindhearted kid with a creative way of thinking. He's respectful, follows class rules, and participates more each day. Math is a challenge, but he pushes through, especially with concepts like ratios and frequency tables. Outside of class, he's a true gentleman who loves recess, video games (especially GTA!), and lunchtime; spaghetti and chicken nugget days are his favorite! Gabriel comes from a big, supportive family and looks up to his hardworking dad, whom he only gets to see on weekends. He always makes a point to greet the principals and ask how their day is going, showing his caring nature and strong connection to the school. With his big heart and curious mind, Gabriel truly exemplifies "The Cobra Way Every Day!"

Congratulations to Jaydy Arroyo for being recognized in the Binational Clean Air Calendar Drawing Contest! The event took place on January 29th at the San Luis Medical Mall (San Luis Walk-In Clinic), celebrating young talent and environmental awareness.

Shout out to our Cobras who tested for AZELLA!🐍 They truly did their best during their test and were applying all the strategies they have been practicing during class. A huge thank you to parents, for supporting our students during this testing session!🫶

A huge shout out to Gianna Anaya for being recognized as an A/B Honor Roll Student during Q2. Students recognized were entered into a raffle and Gianna was the winner of a C2 Pro SE Scooter!🥳🎉

Congratulations to all of our SMS wrestlers who competed at the Copper State Tournament in which they went against 70 other middle schools from across the state! A huge shout out to Annette Preston for being state champ and to Mr. Polanco & Coach Nuñez for guiding our wrestlers to success!
