Student Privacy - Approved Apps for Student Use
In an effort to protect the privacy of our students, our tech team is working diligently to review apps/software for classroom use and determine which ones are acceptable and adhere to our privacy policies.
Please visit the district website to view the list of apps that have been approved/unapproved. Click Here to view the recent list.
If you do not see an application on the list that you would like to use in the classroom, please fill out a Software Request Form. IT will review the app and notify you if it has been approved/unapproved.
Introducing G Suite for Education
Google Apps for Education is now called G Suite. In addition to the new name, Google has been busy making updates to the various applications within the G Suite.
The newest addition to Google Docs, Slides and Sheets is the Explore button. Through the Explore button Google assists you in creating presentations, spreadsheets and documents. The Explore button will save you time with design, creating charts, researching information, and more. See the video below to learn more.
In addition to the Explore button, Google has made additional updates that help the user work smarter. Click here to view updates within Google Docs, Forms and Classroom.
