Dear Sedro-Woolley High School Students and Parents,
Thank you for a fun-filled 2026 SWHS Homecoming!!
What an amazing couple weeks it has been. Our students showed up strong, with so many involved in creating the best lip syncs, decorating our Deck the Den, our Food Productions class creating the best Pasta Feed, making cute, creative floats, and many clubs participating in the Homecoming Parade!! We are so very proud, as well, of all our students, who worked hard to have good grades, excellent attendance, and be in good standing for the Homecoming Dance. We are incredibly proud and so excited to see our school year continue under our student's incredible leadership!!
This month's theme for Woolley-Up is RESPECT:
Last month, Woolley-Up challenged us to Arrive—to show up ready to learn and participate. This month, we focus on Respect—how we treat others, ourselves, and our school once we are here. At Sedro-Woolley High School, respect means listening to understand, valuing differences, using thoughtful words, and taking responsibility for our actions. In classrooms, hallways, the cafeteria, restrooms, at activities, and online, we show respect by caring for shared spaces, honoring others’ boundaries, including people, and speaking up when someone is being mistreated. We can disagree and still treat each other with dignity.
To Woolley-Up is to make choices that help everyone feel safe, valued, and ready to learn. Every person, every space, every day.
A special celebration this Thursday evening, Oct. 15th from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Join our Latinos in Action students for Una Noche de Cultura, a special evening celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! Come enjoy food, music, dancing, games, and cultural activities as we bring our students, families, and community together. Everyone is welcome, and admission is free!

We are very proud!
Our American Sign Language students had the opportunity to travel to Central Washington University to attend the Hammer Deaf Expo Event last Saturday, an event created to celebrate Deaf Culture, Deaf Community, and American Sign Language. It was an amazing event with students learning more about ASL and understanding Deaf Culture. We are grateful to Matt Hamill, who created the event, and to Gavin Grant, our ASL teacher, for organizing and chaperoning the event.
