Shining Stars: Celebrating Our September Student Leaders
Eleanor Gillette
I would like to nominate Eleanor Gillette. Eleanor is a kind, hardworking girl who doesn't let anything stop her. She is the first person to ask how you are doing, cheer others up, and help anyone in need. I was writing something on the board and my materials were falling. She immediately came to my rescue. I love that no matter what is happening, she chooses her weather and never takes out her emotions on others. Eleanor perseveres through any task I give her and always wants others to persevere as well. I know I can partner Eleanor up with anyone in the class for work and they will do a great job together. She is a great example of the 8 habits and of being responsible, respectful, safe, and kind)!
Nominated by: Miss Kus
Owen Pope
My student of the month nomination is Owen Pope. Owen is a great leader because he is respectful, responsible, and kind. He is always working hard to get his classwork done and correct and strives to be the best he can be. Owen is someone who leads other students by reminding them to do what is right and he is always willing to help with anything and everything that he can. He brings a positive energy to class every day that we all appreciate.
Nominated by: Miss Skirka
Emmy Stanton
I would like to nominate Emmy. Emmy is always on task and completes her work. She is willing to help those around her when asked. She always picks a spot to sit where she can be successful. Emmy is hard-working, kind, respectful, and responsible.
Nominated by: Mrs. Coleman
Mark Your Calendar: Ryan Winter Music Program
The program is scheduled for December 17th. It will be held in the high school gym. The time is still being determined. We have a conflict with the St. Mary's Music Program on that night so we are trying to work with them on time. Ms. Erin will be sending home notes with details about what to wear etc... as we get closer.

Auction Day!
By Kaitlyn Rubley and Keegan Armstrong
In Ms. Snellenbrger’s class, we had an auction. There was so much to choose from! We all smiled. We spent a lot of the money that we saved. And now some of us have no money.
It was a serious battle between some of us. Liam Smith spent the most, $369. Bennett spent nothing. After all, he wanted to save money for rent because the rent is $30 per month, and only had $96. Kristyan still has $870, and Arianna has $497 now, too even after spending a lot. We all have our new cool stuff at school or home now.
We will have our next auction in December. Yay! You can thank Ms.Snellenberger.
