Students will have the opportunity to have their school pictures taken during the school day. Picture Day forms were sent home with students this week.

Please visit the AGMS school website for important information regarding ordering, picture packages, and Picture Day details. Orders may be completed online, or payment may be given directly to the photographer on Picture Day.

Please note: AGMS does not collect or process Picture Day payments.

Vision Screenings

On October 5, students will participate in a vision screening following their school picture.

If your student wears glasses, please remind them to bring their glasses to school that day so they have them available for the screening.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the PTO Fundraiser and congratulations to our raffle prize winners! We raised $12,423 due to your generous donations!

In recognition of Veterans Day, AGMS will continue our tradition of honoring the brave men and women who have served our country through our AGMS Wall of Honor and Memorial, located outside the cafeteria.

We invite AGMS families to help us recognize the veterans and service members who are important to them. Please use this form to submit a photo of yourself or a family member who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Photos may also be emailed directly to Mrs. Gomez in the Main Office at igomezflores@avongrove.org.

When submitting a photo, please be sure to include:

• Name of the individual

• Branch of service

• Relationship to the AGMS student

Thank you for helping us recognize and honor the service and sacrifice of our AGMS community’s veterans!

Families are invited to attend a Community Resource Fair on October 14 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in the AGMS Cafeteria. This open-house-style event is free and open to everyone, with information and resources available for ages 3 and up.

VEX Robotics will begin on October 7th. Due to a delay in receiving our robots, we have decided to push the start date back one week. Additional information will be forthcoming. We look forward to an exciting year!
