October 2026
Message from Admin
Hello MHS Families,
October is here, and we’re still waiting for fall weather to arrive—hopefully those cooler temperatures are coming soon!
As we move deeper into the school year, we are incredibly proud of the energy and school spirit across our campus. Homecoming was a huge success, and it was great to see our students, staff, families, and community come together to celebrate Marysville High School. From the activities and dress-up days to the game and dance, Homecoming was a reminder of what makes MHS such a special place. Thank you to everyone who helped make the week memorable for our students!
Now, we turn our attention to finishing this stretch strong as we make the push toward Thanksgiving Break. These next several weeks are important academically, and we encourage our students to stay focused, keep up with assignments, attend school every day, and ask for help when they need it.
Thank you to our students, staff, and families for continuing to bring the energy, pride, and support that make MHS a great place to learn and grow. We appreciate everything you do for our school community.
Let’s have a great October and keep raising the standard!

PBIS Highlights & Updates!
Water Balloon Toss Tournament
The Orange Nation Market is busy every Wednesday with student spending their Orange Nation Cash for prizes, drawings, and entrance to PBIS Parties. We completed our 2nd lunch time tournament with Savannah and Trent as our Winners! We continue to use positive tardy sweeps as an incentive to get to class on time. The team is working diligently to create opportunities to celebrate our amazing MHS students.

Athletics
As we gear up for an exciting season of Marysville High School sports, we want to remind our community about the importance of positive support. As a member of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), we are committed to promoting sportsmanship, integrity, and respect, both on and off the field.
Whether you're cheering from the stands or supporting from home, being a good spectator means encouraging all athletes, respecting officials, and representing our school with pride. Let’s show what it means to be respectful, responsible, healthy, and engaged!
ID Card UPDATE
ID cards will be delivered to you in a few weeks. Until then, download the 5star Students app on your phone. We use the app for all sorts of fun things on campus like voting for royalty, completing surveys, and signing up for events, but one of the best parts is the digital ID card that syncs to Aeries. This digital ID is as official as your physical school ID card. Please use the 5star ID for admission to events and athletic games until our physical IDs come in.
Leave of Grounds Pass
As a reminder, MJUSD has a closed campus policy. Campus is closed for all students, including during lunch and break. Students needing to leave campus during school hours must have a valid Leave of Grounds Pass.

Our School
Established in 1871, Marysville High School is one of California’s first public high schools. Its War Memorial Stadium, built in 1949 to honor World War veterans, is a top venue for high school football. MHS has fielded a team for over 100 years. In 2017, the field was renamed Glen E. Harris Field in honor of Mr. Harris, who dedicated over 30 years to the community and served as a Marysville Joint Unified School District Board member. Go Marysville! 🏈
