Parent Training on the Palmetto ABLE Savings Program
Living with a disability often brings extra costs to families. That’s why the Palmetto ABLE Savings Program is an important financial resource that can help you plan for the future of your loved one.
Palmetto ABLE® accounts allow individuals with disabilities to save money while maintaining eligibility for important government benefits.
During this session, we will discuss the benefits, eligibility, opening and managing an account, and using funds on qualified disability expenses. The Palmetto ABLE Savings Program is administered by the State Treasurer’s Office.
Karen Crider is the Program Manager for Palmetto ABLE, and her son Matthew is a Palmetto ABLE savings account owner. She will share with us about how to start a Palmetto ABLE account for our student and why it is so helpful!
