Weekly Wrap Up #29 & #30
Cup o' Coffee #17...
Everyone seems refreshed coming back from spring break! It's been great to see our kids and staff with renewed energy. To help us focus that energy, please be sure you are taking time to have your child pull up Infinite Campus for grades and reviewing any missing work with them to stay on track.
Students can also get extra help before school or during Advisory throughout the week.
On April 22nd, we will begin our MAP state testing. It is important βto remember that attendance is critical and a good night's rest and nourishment are essential to our young people being able to be at their best for these important assessments. This opportunity provides our students a chance to show what they know and how much they've grown!

Counselor Update
We're delighted to announce that Mrs. Fisher, our 6th Grade Counselor, is expecting her second child this summer! She will be taking a leave of absence for the 2025-2026 school year.
In her absence, Mrs. Holtgrieve, currently the 7th Grade Counselor, will serve as the counselor for 7th graders next year and 8th Grade Gold Team while Mr. Eder will serve as the counselor for 6th graders and 8th Grade Green Team.
We have put plans in place already to support a smooth transition.
While we'll miss Mrs. Fisher, we're thrilled for her and her family. We're also grateful to have Mrs. Holtgrieve and Mr. Eder ready to support our students. Mrs. Fisher plans to return for the 2026-2027 school year.
IMPORTANT District Message:
Parents, are you planning to go on field trips or volunteer* for school events?
If so, to ensure the safety of all our students, volunteers are required to undergo a fingerprint-based background check through the Missouri Highway Patrol and the FBI.
The cost for the background check is approximately $45 and is the responsibility of the volunteer. This background check only needs to be done once while you are a volunteer in Rockwood schools and does not need to be repeated annually.
Here is the link to the MACHS fingerprint registration portal. Please use the registration code of 1838 when you register.
Upon completion, email your receipt to Rockwood Human Resources mayerevelyn@rsdmo.org
KEEP YOUR RECEIPT and paperwork in case it needs to be referred back to.
Please visit the Rockwood District website for additional information: rsdmo.org/get-involved/volunteers
*A volunteer refers to anyone who is chaperoning on a field trip or who may be alone with a student or students at school without the supervision of a staff member. Please visit the Rockwood District website for additional information: rsdmo.org/get-involved/volunteers.
Visitors are those who are at school to eat lunch with their child, attend a meeting, class party, school assembly or event and do NOT need to complete the fingerprinting process.

ParentSquare: Rockwood uses ParentSquare for district and school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified. By default, if parents donβt access their account, they will receive a daily digest of messages from the school and district via email each evening. Click here for more information about ParentSquare.
