📣 Weekly Announcements & Reminders 💙

This week is a special one at BAS as we look forward to our Spring Week of Prayer and Spirit Week, March 23–27! Week of Prayer is always a meaningful time on campus as we pause from our regular routines to focus more intentionally on faith, reflection, and growing closer to God together as a school family.

Along with the spiritual focus of the week, Spirit Week will bring some fun and excitement to campus with themed dress-up days and activities. These days are always a favorite for students and staff alike and help build community and school spirit. Be sure to check the flyer for the daily themes and details.

Please also note that we will have early dismissal at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday for Parent/Teacher Conferences. If you would like to meet with your student’s teacher, please make sure you have signed up for a conference time.

As we move deeper into the final quarter of the school year, it’s encouraging to see students continuing to work hard, support one another, and grow both academically and spiritually. Thank you for partnering with us as we guide our students through this important season of the year.

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”

~ Hebrews 10:23

Field Day Information

On Friday, April 3, 2026 is Field Day at BAS! We have a bunch of fun activities planned for the day and we hope you encourage your child(ren) to participate in the planned events with a great attitude! This will be counted as a school day and attendance will be taken. If your child cannot be at Field Day please let Mrs. Suess know ASAP so we can adjust the teams accordingly (we want to try and keep them as even as possible)! Half of the activities will be held outside and the other half in our gymnasium.

Field Day will be a ½ day event, starting in the morning with individual activities ending with team challenges. The individual events are: broad jump, 40 yard dash, chicken throw, and the obstacle course. The team events are: 3-legged race, obstacle course, shuttle run, and the sponge race. Please be aware that your child may get wet due to activities planned so please plan accordingly! The students are assigned to a team and need to wear their team’s color of t-shirt! This will help us distinguish between the teams. Also, please make sure your child(ren) is(are) dressed in Physical Education type clothes and shoes! If your child(ren) needs sunscreen please send some to school along with a water bottle! And since they might get a little wet by the end of the day, feel free to send a change of clothes!

We look forward to a fun day!

Blessings,

BAS Staff

Parent Partnership: Encouraging Faith at Home

Week of Prayer is a wonderful opportunity for students to reflect on their relationship with God. Families can support this by continuing conversations at home—asking what they learned during chapel, praying together, or reading a short Bible passage as a family.

Faith grows strongest when it is nurtured both at school and at home. Thank you for partnering with us to help students develop a strong spiritual foundation.
