MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Aloha Ohana!

Never, ever underestimate the importance of having fun. Randy Pausch

We are just weeks away from the End of the school year. This past week the students finished the last of our grade level field trips. We ended our week with a fun-filled Fun Day! It was a great time had by all. Thank you to our PE Team for organizing such a memorable event. Also a huge thank you to our Parent volunteers for running the events and joining in on the fun.

This upcoming week, our third grade students will be visiting Miller School to take a tour of the building and meet the staff. We're also gearing up for our Lip Sync night. Please check out our social media pages for more information about upcoming events. Thank you.

Have a great weekend!

Learning About The Percussion Family

Mr. Spatz and the Fernwood Middle School Drumline visited Davenport Elementary to present The Percussion Family with a fun and LOUD assembly! It was great to see so many of our Davenport Alumni playing on stage. After the assembly, Mrs. Collado's 2nd grade class got to experience what it's like to be in a Drumline.

3rd Grade Field Trip to Cape May Nature Center

Ms. Kretschmer's 3rd grade class had the best day at the Cape May Nature Center learning about the food chain. Some students were even brave enough to kiss a live horseshoe crab! Some people say kissing a horseshoe crab gives you seven years of good luck! Many thanks to our AMAZING moms who suited up in waders to go out into the bay and sein for the class!
