Registration and Information Update Registration and Information Update

All families—new and returning—should have received a registration/information update link from our Registrar, Ms. Colon. This form is mandatory and must be completed and submitted as soon as possible. It is especially important for families who have moved over the summer, as address changes affect transportation routes and stops. Proof of address is required for any updates.
For questions, please contact Ms. Colon at ccolon@crec.org.

Health Services Health Services

Is your child able to start on the first day?

Our Health Services team has been working hard to ensure that all students have up-to-date physicals and immunization records. Please check your email for any communications regarding missing documents. Students missing required health documentation will not be able to start school until the documents are received and processed.

If you did not receive an email from Health Services, you should be all set. Still, feel free to reach out with any questions.

Documents can be emailed to HealthServices@crec.org or faxed to 860-920-4022.

Innovation General Information Innovation General Information

School begins on August 27th for our students. This first day of school will be an early dismissal day releasing at 10:50am. The regular school day begins at 7:30 AM and our regular day dismissal time is 2:05 PM. A Rules Assembly has been scheduled for students in each grade with Administration during the first week of school.

School Schedule School Schedule

Students will have six classes per day. The schedule will rotate so students will have each class 3-4 times per week. Students will also have a 30-minute Innovation/Advisory block every day. During this time students will be engaged in our whole school goal activities, team building/culture and climate activities and social/emotional learning. We feel this model will help all students academically to ensure their success and be productive members of our community and world at Large.

Meals Program Meals Program

Students will be able to enter the building at 7:20am for breakfast. Students will once again be provided free breakfast and lunch. These meals are FREE for all students. However, if your child wants a la carte items and/or extra food they will need to pay for it at time of service.

Academic Core Teams Academic Core Teams

Students will be assigned to an academic team who will support the students and parents. Each team has an assigned Team Leader. Changes regarding Bus Passes Changes regarding Bus Passes

Please Note:

In previous years, we have occasionally been able to accommodate requests for students to ride a different bus or be dropped off at an alternate stop. Unfortunately, due to updated transportation policies and capacity limitations, we are no longer able to honor these requests. Students must ride only their assigned bus and use their designated stop.
