Saturday, March 4, 2023 is this year’s Oswego Junior High Fine Arts Festival. This is a day on the calendar we consider one of our most important performances of the school year.
All performances will be educationally critiqued by a panel of adjudicators. These professionals have been hired to evaluate each band’s performance and provide constructive comments to the directors and students. All of the junior high directors ask that these judges:
·hold us to the highest standards of musical performance
·give comments on whether the music performed is of appropriate difficulty
·comment on the quality of literature being performed
·judge each band based on standard band criteria

After the performance, students will receive comments and critiques from one of the evaluators (the “clinic” portion of the festival).
