The Week of the Tiny Tiger The Week of the Tiny Tiger

Week of the Tiny Tiger was filled with meaningful moments, joyful learning, and plenty of Tiger pride! The week kicked off by welcoming PK families to campus for Tasty Tuesday, sharing meals and special time together. On Work Together Wednesday, our Early Childhood students partnered with older grades to celebrate 100 days of learning—creating sweet cross-grade connections (and sibling memories!) along the way.

The fun continued as our first graders celebrated 101 Days of Loving School dressed as Dalmatians, and the week concluded with a memorable Family Friday. Our Tiny Tigers led Little Chapel in Big Chapel, followed by the EC Art Show, where our youngest artists proudly shared their work. To top it all off, our second graders celebrated the 102nd day of school dressed as 102-year-olds—proving just how much joy can fit into one incredible week on the Hilltop!

8th Grade Chapel Talks

As part of a cherished St. Luke’s tradition, our 8th grade students will step forward during Chapel to share reflections on their time at St. Luke’s—what they’ve learned, the friendships they’ve formed, and the memories they’ll carry with them beyond the Hilltop. These talks offer a meaningful glimpse into their growth and leadership, and we invite our community to attend and help us celebrate our 8th graders as they conclude their journey at St. Luke’s Episcopal School.

This week, our PK3 and 4th grade students partnered in an innovative, cross-grade learning experience that blended creativity, play, and STEM. Fourth graders designed and built race tracks and engineered magnetic cars and wands, then worked alongside our PK3 students as mentors and guides. The PK3 students colored the cars and explored movement and cause-and-effect through hands-on play. This collaboration is innovative because students created their own learning tools, older students took on leadership roles, and younger learners engaged in purposeful play-resulting in meaningful learning for both age groups and stronger connections across our school community
