Christmas Concert
I would like to thank everyone who made our Christmas Concert last night a very lively and joyful experience.
To our incredible students—your talent and dedication shone brightly! Your outstanding singing and acting brought the performance to life and filled the space with joy and inspiration. You should all be very proud of your hard work.
To our amazing staff—thank you for your efforts in organising every detail. Your commitment ensured all was in readiness and gave our students the platform to showcase their talents.
And to our supportive community—we are immensely grateful for your enthusiastic turnout. Your presence and encouragement made this event special. It is your support that contributes to such a vibrant and nurturing environment for our students.
We look forward to many more memorable Christmas Concerts here at Queenies.
Graduation
Next Wednesday afternoon starting at 1pm is the Year 6 Graduation Mass & Ceremony for 2025. This is a very special day in the lives of these students and their families. I would like to wish our Year 6 students all the best of luck as they start the next phase in their schooling journey. They are a fantastic class with many wonderful talents who contribute so much to the running of the school. We can’t wait to hear about the wonderful things they have been up to when they come back and visit.
Reports
Reports for Semester Two 2025 will be available via SEQTA on Thursday 11th December. Can all parents/guardians please make sure your log in details work prior to this date. If you are having any issues, please contact the office. Once reports are made available, I encourage you to read over the information very thoroughly with your child. It is important they have an understanding of the areas they have done well in and any areas for improvement. I thank our teaching staff for all their hard work in preparing the reports.
Thanksgiving Mass
The Thanksgiving Mass is on tomorrow at 9am in the Church. All community members are welcome to attend and celebrate another great year at Queenies. It is at this Mass that we will present the community donations to St Vincent de Paul.

CANTEEN NEWS
As we near end of the school term a special thank you to all who volunteered at the canteen.
We will try our best to have most items on the menu but may have limited stock to avoid wastage next Thursday.
Thank you for your understanding.
Volunteering
The Government of WA have amended the Working with Children Act last year with the changes implemented to better protect children. Catholic Education WA has mandated this process for all volunteers, including parent volunteers in schools. This includes parents who wish to volunteer at sports carnivals, in classrooms and at P&F events. Could we ask that all parents fill in the Volunteer Declaration (link) even if you have no plans at this stage to volunteer at school. If you filled out the form last year you will need to do it again this year. Parents who wish to assist teachers on excursions will need to be on this list. Your information will be stored securely in accordance with CEWA’s Information Stewardship. We highly value parent volunteers' time and contribution to our school community and thank-you for taking the time to submit the form below.
Any grandparents that wish to volunteer in the classroom or assist in the canteen will need a Working With Children Check. Please note this does not include drop off, pick up or attendance at our Grandparents Mass and Morning Tea. Grandparents that would like to volunteer at school, please contact the school office and we can assist you in the process.
