Dear PES Families,

This week at PES our 4th graders enjoyed a field trip to Fremont Field to explore plant adaptations.

During our all school meeting, Mrs. Lavoie's class read a Halloween poem about scary costumes. Be sure to ask your child what the scariest costume would be! We wrapped up our meeting with an impressive weather report presented by third graders, who will continue to share their forecasts with us until March.

Next week, we are excited for Read for the Record on Thursday! Volunteers will come in to read to students, followed by a fun craft activity.

I hope you all get to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend!

Tammy

DROP OFF REMINDER

Just a quick reminder that we don’t have staff on duty outside until 8:25 AM. To ensure the safety of all our students, please avoid dropping them off unsupervised before that time.

Absences

I wanted to remind families that absences due to family vacations are considered unexcused absences unless I receive a written request at least two weeks in advance. If you’re planning a trip, please send me your request, and we can discuss how to best support your child academically during their time away.
