District 5 Transitioning to Digital School Report Cards
Starting this school year (2026–2027), District 5 will distribute all report cards electronically through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. To ensure student data privacy and security, printed report cards will no longer be sent home with students. Moving forward, historical report cards for every term your student is enrolled in District 5 will remain accessible in the portal.
Accessing Your Child’s Report Card
When report cards are published at the end of each grading period, parents and guardians will receive a notification email. To view official report cards:
Visit the PowerSchool Parent Portal in a web browser: https://lexrich5.powerschool.com/public.
Sign in to your Parent account.
Please note: Official report card documents are only available via a web browser, not through the PowerSchool mobile app (though current grades are always visible in the app).
Troubleshooting & Parent vs. Student Accounts
Parents and students have separate login portals. If you do not see the student scheduling information or report card link upon logging in, you may be signed into a student account. You can verify which account you are using by checking the name displayed in the top-right corner of the screen. For help with your Parent Portal account, please reach out to your child’s school registrar.
Requesting a Printed Copy
If you require a paper copy of your child’s report card, please contact their school directly to arrange a pickup at the front office.

IDs must be worn at all times.
IDs must be visible and worn outside of clothing.
Picture, name and barcode must be visible.
ID badges must be clearly visible and worn in front above the waist and below the neck on a breakaway lanyard. In a pocket, or under a jacket is NOT clearly visible.
