Dress Code Check In Dress Code Check In

With the weather getting cooler, it’s a good time to review the CUSD Dress Code policy. CUSD Administrative policy 5132 regarding dress code states that “leggings are permitted but may not have any mesh or rouching above the knee. Tops worn with leggings or jeggings may not expose bare midriff at any time during school or school sponsored activities or events”. Jeans with distressing are permitted provided no skin is visible through the distressing, and fraying is stitched to prevent further fraying. Also, shorts may be worn year round at the parents discretion. Policy 5132 states “shorts are to have an inseam of at least five inches (5"). Bike shorts (spandex), shorts with holes exposing skin are not permitted. Athletic shorts are permissible. Please be sure your student is in dress code when leaving for school every morning.
