Caragher's Corner
Afternoon Parents/Guardians,
While this week has brought its share of tragedy, it has also reminded me how incredible it is to be part of a community that truly looks out for one another. The way our students, staff, and families have come together, showing care, kindness, and compassion, speaks volumes about who we are at GBS. As we reminded students this week, when we see others hurting, we have an opportunity to lead with empathy. Through that, healing begins.
A few quick updates from what has been a busy week at GBS:
-
NWEA testing is now complete—thank you to everyone for your support and encouragement throughout the process.
-
8th graders participated in hands-on science studies focused on macroinvertebrates.
-
5th, 6th, and 7th graders had the opportunity to explore the MilliporeSigma Cube, a big thank-you to our partners at MilliporeSigma for making that possible!
As always, if there is any way we can support your student, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We value your partnership and care deeply about every member of our GBS family.
Wishing you all a restful and restorative 3 day weekend.
Sincerely,
Adam Caragher, Principal ~ GBS
