Oakland Owl News
November 2025
Principal Notes
Happy November, Oakland Families,
Wow! With Quarter 1 already complete, we have a lot to be thankful for! Our students are settling in and working really hard. Thank you for doing your part to read every night, make sure they get a good night's sleep, and supporting good attendance. This month we are focusing on attendance and having all of our students at school. In order for our students to learn and grow, we need them at school.
This month I have added our school designation letter below that highlights our status. We are very proud of the hard work and are looking forward to continuing to grow! Our partnership and continued efforts on academics at home and school makes a difference. Check out the letter below.
Here are a couple items to highlight and remember for the month.
- Parent-teacher conferences were a success. We held over 420 conferences. If you havenโt had a chance to talk with your teacher(s), please reach out to them anytime.
- Book Fair and Family Fun Night happen this month - We would love to see you. Set your calendar now to attend November 13th
- 7 Mindsets Resource for Families - This month we are focusing on Passion First. Talk to your child about your passions and how those have helped guide you. Encourage them to share their passions with you and others!
Last, please tell your Owls how proud of them you are! We all need encouragement and thrive off of love.
