Welcome to Seach Principal Pires!

It is with great pleasure that I write to you to announce Nerecesa Pires has been selected as the next Principal of Seach Elementary School.

Nerecesa comes to Weymouth Public Schools with an impressive background as the current Assistant Principal of Keverian Elementary School in Everett, Massachusetts, and versatile educator. She has a Masters of Education from Lesley University.

We are extremely excited to welcome Ms. Pires to the Weymouth Public Schools community as the next Principal of Seach Elementary School. Her robust experience, demonstrated leadership qualities, and commitment to communication, diversity, and educational excellence will be a tremendous asset to our entire school community.

Ms. Pires will begin her role as Principal on July 1, 2022, and Seach families can expect to hear from her before the start of the 2022-2023 school year. Please join us in congratulating Ms. Pires and extending a warm Wildcat welcome on behalf of the entire WPS community!

I want to let you know that I am super excited to be the new Principal of Seach Elementary School.

First, a little bit about myself is that I am married, have two children, and I have one French Bulldog. Throughout my career, I have worn many hats, such as a first-year teacher mentor, a supervising practitioner for student teachers, program supervisor, seminar leader, field placement assistant director, associate certification and licensure officer, and a recruiter for professional programs and urban outreach for Lesley University.

Educating students and working with their families is a true passion. I believe all students and families should feel respected and valued within any school domain. It takes a healthy and cohesive mind to move this world forward in the direction of equality. Like I always tell my students, "Education + Motivation = Success." So with that, I am happy to get to know each of you and grow together within the Seach Elementary School Community.
