Multicultural Night is a Go!

Happy Halloween to those who celebrate! Thank you to our room reps and parent volunteers who made our festivities this afternoon incredibly memorable.

Our students have been doing a great job earning owl tickets for the month of October, and they have voted! This upcoming Wednesday, November 5th, will be ALL SCHOOL Pajama Day!

Save the Date - Thursday, November 6th from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

We’re excited to share families answered our plea and that our 3rd Annual Multicultural Night is happening on Thursday, November 6th, from 6:00–7:30 p.m.!

This year, we’ll have 10 countries represented by our wonderful OMS families and staff members: Germany, Venezuela, Austria, Italy, Puerto Rico, Japan, India, the Philippines, Lithuania, and Poland.

It will be a more low-key evening than in years past, with each room hosting smaller, family-friendly activities and simple cultural experiences to enjoy together.

Thanks to the generosity of our PTA, students will also receive individual passports where they can write interesting facts they learn and color a flag to represent each country they explore.

Come join us as we celebrate the many cultures that make our OMS community so special!

Join us in the library media center during Multicultural Night on Thursday, November 6, for our “sponsor a book” fundraiser! Explore our new book collection and, with a $10 donation, sponsor a book for the library. Sponsored books will have a personalized bookplate, and your child will be the first to check it out. Plus, every family who sponsors a book can enter a raffle to win an autographed copy of a book. Three prizes are available!
