The big news this week is that our PTO Fall Fundraiser starts TODAY! Be on the lookout for a white fundraiser envelope coming home with all students in Preschool through 1st Grade beginning today. This fundraiser supports the PTO for both Primary and Lakeside students and includes lots of great options, including pizza, candy, gifts, and more! You’ll find all of the fundraiser information right at the top of this week’s Office Notes. And that’s not all! Be sure to keep scrolling to the PTO section for even more opportunities, including socks, wraps, and other fun PTO activities happening this fall.
There is a lot going on and a lot of fun ahead, so please take a few minutes to read through everything below and get up to speed on all things Primary!
Have a great weekend,

Learning the Wildcat Way
At Chisago Lakes Primary, we take pride in teaching and practicing the Wildcat Way: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe. To help our students learn these important skills, we use our school superheroes Riley Respect, Ruby Responsibility, and Sam Safety. Each of these superheroes helps guide students in making positive choices at school, whether they’re in the classroom, hallways, playground, or lunchroom. Students are learning what it looks like and sounds like to follow the Wildcat Way every day.
You may start seeing green Wildcat Way tickets coming home with your child! These tickets are part of our positive Wildcat Way system and are given when a staff member notices a student doing something amazing that demonstrates the Wildcat Way.
When a student earns a ticket, their name is entered into our monthly drawing for a dance party! The ticket that comes home is a duplicate, so when you see one, help us celebrate your child and the great choices they are making at school! We want our students to know that following the Wildcat Way is something worth celebrating, both at school and at home.
To keep the learning going at home, we’ve included some fun activity and coloring sheets linked below. These are a great way to reinforce the messages, talk about what Respect, Responsibility, and Safety look like at home, and celebrate the Wildcat Way with your child!

She can be reached at aodland@isd2144.org or 651-213-2202. If your schedule allows, we also encourage families to consider visiting Monday - Thursday rather than Friday. Fridays tend to be our busiest visitor days, and we have a limited number of tables available for families. Thank you for helping us plan ahead. We love having you as part of our Primary day!

Family Resources & Support
We are fortunate to have a caring community that helps support our students and families. Through generous donations from the Knights of Columbus and other local community businesses and groups, we have a variety of resources available for families who may need a little extra support. Resources may include weekend food through our Backpack Program, winter gear, clothing, school supplies, personal care items, information about local food resources, and more.
If any of these resources would be helpful for your family, please complete THIS GOOGLE FORM. Participation is completely optional, and all requests are kept confidential. Once you submit the form, a member of our team will connect with you.
