It's time to start thinking about course selection for next year. Please see the flyers below regarding course selection informational sessions at Hays and Rock Hill. (Click images to enlarge for details.)

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we begin the new year, we are introduced to a wide range of new books, movies, podcasts, apps, and video games, especially with the rise of BookTok on TikTok and #Bookstagram on Instagram.

To help you navigate this evolving media landscape, Common Sense Media serves as a valuable resource, providing guidance on selecting age-appropriate content for your students.

You may find this free resource at https://www.commonsensemedia.org.

Best regards,
Mrs. Friesenhahn, MLS

🚗The colder weather recently means we've had more cars in our carpool lines. Please remember to be courteous of other drivers as you are dropping off or picking up your child.

• There are two carpool lanes at Hays - one in the front and one in the back. Follow the flow of traffic in these lanes.
• Parking lots are reserved for those who are parking and coming into the building with a purpose. Students should not be dropped off or picked up in parking lots as this creates unnecessary delays in the flow of the carpool as well as a potential hazard as students cross through traffic.
• The lane and lot by the gyms (south side of the building) are reserved for buses.
• Do not stop and let your kids out on Hillcrest Road. This causes traffic congestion as well as a serious safety concern.

• Join PTO! Your membership and partnership help to fund materials, experiences, and celebrations for students and teachers throughout the year!
• Give your child a birthday shout out with a message on the Hays marquee! Details here!

Current 5th - 7th graders who are interested in joining an orchestra or band must attend an instrument screening/fitting session. This site contains all of that information and links to sign up for a 1 on 1 session with a Prosper ISD band or orchestra director.

Campus leadership and Prosper ISD Parent Ambassadors are excited to offer campus tours for parents, grandparents, and community members. Come connect with our school communities and discover all the amazing things happening in Prosper ISD. Space is limited. Sign up using this link.
