In the Middle

This week we will be focusing on the Schoology grading/gradebook. In addition, there will be training for Learn 360 and Parent Portal in Schoology. Both of these are district wide sessions, so get there early before spaces fill up. Don't forget to sign-in for each session you attend.

Please be ON TIME for your sessions. We start promptly. If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from joining on time, please don't ask us to repeat the entire session after we have finished. Instead, join at one of the other available times.

The Analytics in Schoology showing when your students last logged in to Schoology and when they last logged in to your course material IS NOT live data. The data is updated once a day; and the date and time it was last updated will be shown above the student names (see image).

Students & Parents should NOT contact the Help Desk or DLS. Please do not give students or parents the email address or phone number to call the Help Desk or your DLS. If they are having an issue with their password or district device they need to refer to the Aldine website, At Home Learning Plan link on the right. The password reset request link and district device assistance link is located on the Students and Parents tabs. Your ILS (librarian), the Help Desk, nor your campus DLS can reset a password or troubleshoot district devices for students.

Need to create or design an image or document? Check out Canva. Access one of their many templates or create your own. They offer tons of free templates and images that you can use and customize.

As you navigate this new role as a virtual teacher please know we are here to support you! If you have a question about a digital resource reach out to your designated DLS. We're available from 8:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday!
