Thank you for all of the BEautiful Bulldog memories I've had the honor to make with your children here at Belmont. I really have been a bundle of emotions this week, and your kind words, hugs and well-wishes have made me feel so very loved. I am truly humbled.

For thirty-nine years, I've made more than a living in education; I've made a life. Being on the front row for the journey taken by thousands of students and staff during those years is not taken lightly, and is a privilege I will always treasure. There is no doubt that I will forget names, but I do not forget hearts, and your child's will be with me forever.

BElieving in possibilities comes from my core. Yesterday, every student went home with a certificate from me to them. It's the I BElieve in YOU commitment that I hope they look back on someday and realize that they have always had the power to make their world a little brighter every day. You do, as well. Do the hard thing. One step at a time. It always makes the next thing easier. My current hard thing is leaving a learning community I truly love. I'm wrapping up my career one step at a time, and I know that new memories with my family will soon bring new and immense joy.

Remember all of that time I prattled on about Executive Functioning Skills last fall? This summer would be a FABULOUS time to pull out those old notes and sharpen those skills! There are so many fun things a family can do together to help our children develop the planning, organization and social skills needed to become happy and successful young humans who grow up to be happy and successful grown humans! I've included the list of skills we've worked on this year and all of the old newsletters are on our building website! Go ahead. Take charge of helping your children have a great 25-26!

The Belmont PTO Oversight Committee is made up of two Co-Chairs, two Co-Treasurers, two Communications Co-municators (see what I did there?) a Teacher Liaison and the Principal. Next year, our Co-Chairs are Kaylee Ingenthron and Hilary Gillespie, our Treasurer is Adam Gotsche (until someone joins him in this department, the co-chairs serve as co-treasurers to keep the checks and balances in our by-laws in play), Jennifer Sikkel is our Teacher Liaison and the Principal will be Mr. Stucky. Do you like spreadsheets and helping to funnel money into our student classrooms? Reach out! Do you love to manage social media or keep groups organized by capturing and sharing what's happening in meetings, planning, and all things PTO? Reach out!
