Kohlberg Elementary Newletter
Week of 10-20-25
Welcome Back, Coyote Families!
We hope you had a wonderful and restful intersession and that our Coyotes are returning recharged and ready to learn!
As we jump back into instruction, we want to remind parents that students in 3rd through 5th grade will be taking STAAR Interim Assessments over the next few weeks. These assessments help us track student progress and plan the supports they need to be successful in the spring. Please make sure your child is present, well-rested, and on time each day—their attendance is crucial!
Looking ahead, we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week during the last week of October! We’ll be hosting fun dress-up days and activities to promote healthy choices and drug-free lifestyles. We encourage all Coyotes to participate and show their spirit!
Thank you for your continued support. Let’s make this next stretch of learning our best yet!

· The email includes a link to the Parent Portal. Log in and select “Parent Forms.”
· You will see two forms: Income Determination and Impact Aid. The forms will be pre-filled with the information you submitted during registration.
· Review the information, make updates if needed, and submit.
· Although you will receive a separate email for each student in your household, you may confirm all of your children within Parent Portal and complete the forms once for all students.
· After submitting the Income Determination form, the Impact Aid form will open. Both forms must be submitted to be considered complete.
· If one form is left incomplete, you will continue to receive reminders.
