All Stars. All-In.
Principal's Corner
Dear Ault All-Star Families,
As we approach the end of our first semester, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful families and community for your continued support, partnership, and enthusiasm! Your involvement, encouragement, and commitment to our school make such a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and help create a positive, welcoming environment where everyone can thrive.
A special shout-out and heartfelt thank you to our amazing PTO and dedicated volunteers for all of their hard work in making our Ault Boo Bash such a tremendous success! From the planning and preparation to the time and energy given to make the event special, your efforts helped create wonderful memories for our students and families. We are so fortunate to have such a supportive community that comes together to make these experiences possible!
It is hard to believe how quickly this school year is flying by! We have so much to celebrate and so many accomplishments to be proud of. I am excited about all that we have experienced together so far and look forward to finishing the semester strong. Thank you for being such an important part of our school family. Your support means more than you know, and we are truly grateful to have you on this journey with us!
Wishing all of our families a wonderful remainder of the semester. Let's continue to make these final weeks count!
And remember...it's a great day to be an All-Star!
With Gratitude,
Principal LaCoke

Bringing Out the Best: November/December
Each month our All-Stars learn about a new character trait through our district's "Bringing Out the Best" program. This November/December, our Bringing Out the Best character trait is GENEROSITY! Generosity means being kind and willing to share, give, and help others without expecting anything in return. Being generous isn't just about sharing toys or treats; it can also mean sharing our time, using kind words, and helping someone who needs it.
At school, generosity looks like:
Sharing crayons, markers, or classroom supplies.
Letting a friend go first or taking turns.
Inviting someone to play at recess.
Sharing a seat at your lunch table.
Helping a friend pick up dropped papers or supplies.
Sharing your favorite book with a friend.
Helping a new student feel welcome.
Offering to help clean up the classroom
At home, generosity might look like:
Sharing toys, games, or snacks with siblings.
Helping set the table or put away groceries.
Letting someone else choose the family movie.
Helping a brother or sister with something they find tricky.
Making a picture or card for someone special.
Giving someone a hug or a kind word.
Helping clean up without being asked.
Offering to help a parent with a chore.
Remember, generosity doesn't have to be BIG to make a BIG difference! A small act of kindness can brighten someone's day. Let's look for ways to share, help, and spread kindness at school, at home, and everywhere we go!
When teachers and parents work together to model, encourage, and celebrate generosity, we help our students develop caring hearts and learn that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference!
Sincerely,
Ms. Dickerson & Mrs. Breidenthal

Attendance Matters
As assistant principals at Ault, we also oversee attendance in partnership with our registrar. When your child's attendance rate drops below 90% (regardless of whether absences are excused or unexcused), we will reach out to you to implement an Attendance Contract.

Anti-Victimization Lessons
On Monday, December 7, 2026, the school counselor will present Anti-Victimization lessons to Kindergarten through 5th grade students.
I will be using the WHO Program: We Help Ourselves. There are three ways in which WHO teaches children how We Help Ourselves:
Know—Know the rules you and your family have decided on for safety.
Do—Have a plan for assertive, positive action
Tell—Ask someone you trust for help—it’s important to tell someone about situations that are uncomfortable.
Click here to see the video that will be presented to your child’s grade level to help you decide if you would like to opt-in for your child to receive the lesson. I encourage you to have these conversations with your child to ensure they know what to do in dangerous or uncomfortable situations.
Click here to opt-in for your child to receive the Anti-Victimization lessons from the counselor by Friday, November 20, 2026.
Sincerely,
Laura Hernandez
