MRE Update

School Hours: 8:35 - 3:05
Arrival Time Window: 8:25 - 8:35 AM
Afternoon Bus Schedule Notice
Week of Jan. 20th - 23rd only
Please note that afternoon buses may arrive earlier than usual next week. The high school will be on an early release schedule all week, so buses will no longer need to complete high school routes before arriving at MRE for dismissal.
Families are asked to plan to meet students at the bus stop a bit earlier than normal, especially for our youngest riders. If an adult is not present at the stop, students will remain on the bus. In that case, the bus company will notify the school, and we will then contact the family.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in helping ensure a smooth and safe dismissal.

Unplanned Dismissals: Ensure a Prompt Pickup Plan Is in Place
Sick Students & Unplanned Events
Please ensure your family has a plan in place should your child become sick during the school day. If a student needs to be dismissed due to illness, prompt pickup is required.
Much like planning for an unexpected early release due to weather or other emergencies, having designated contacts or backup caregivers available allows students to go home quickly to rest and recover.
Dismissal Safety Reminder
💡 Reminder: Default Dismissal
Please check your child’s Default Dismissal in PickUp Patrol and update it as needed. This ensures your child always goes where you expect.
📌 Important: Dismissal Changes
All dismissal changes must be entered in PickUp Patrol, including after-school activities such as Coding Club, Science Club, Ski Club, and similar programs. Thank you for your cooperation.
PTO Corner
Thank you to the PTO!
In addition, a parent volunteer has also been very generous with her time, coming in periodically to organize the items and check for names. Her efforts are truly appreciated!

Lunch Time!
Arriving Late or Picking Up Early? Here’s What to Know!
If your child needs to be dismissed early, please keep in mind that lunch and recess can make it harder for us to bring students to the office quickly. When possible, planning pick-ups outside of these times helps everything run more smoothly for both students and staff.
Below are lunch times to support your planning. Recess typically follows right after lunch:
Kindergarten: 11:30–11:55
Grade 1: 11:15–11:45
Grade 2: 11:45–12:15
Grade 3: 12:00–12:25
Grade 4: 12:15–12:40
Grade 5: 12:30–12:55
