Procedures

The elementary students at MPS follow the expectations of the school. If you would like to review these expectations you may view the powerpoint our elementary leadership team started last year.

5th and 6th Grade Leadership Team- Buffalo Crew

The 5th and 6th grade MPS students have an opportunity to be on the elementary leadership team. The team will do the following things to help out around the school:

Attending leadership meetings every week on Wednesdays over lunch
Creating expectations videos/posters
Morning announcements
Helping plan monthly assemblies
Planning classroom buddy activities
Other leadership activities

Bullying Report Form

Here is a link to the bullying report form.

You and/or your child can fill out this form to report any incident where your child has been a victim or has witnessed students be a victim to bullying.

Student of the Month

Each grade level will be eligible to receive student of the month.

They will be recognized on the school website and FB page as well as receive a small reward for their accomplishment.

Student engagement staff will look for when nominating a student of the month:

Good Attendance!
Completion of Work!
Collaborates well with peers and staff!
Follows school expectations!

Waiting List

If you have preschool and kindergarten students for next year who you would like to enroll please put them on the waiting list as soon as possible as spots will fill up.
