Supporting Safe Choices Over the Summer

As summer approaches, we want to ensure students are equipped to make safe and responsible choices while away from school. The FISD Counseling Department has created a short video to help clarify expectations, review potential consequences for poor decisions, and remind students how to report concerns—especially during the summer months.

Please note that the District’s anonymous reporting tool, STOPit, is not monitored over the summer. If students experience or witness something concerning, they are encouraged to speak with a trusted adult and/or contact local law enforcement, depending on the situation.

Watch the video here: Video

Together, we can help our students stay safe and supported throughout the summer break.

Visiting LT alumni

Parents, it's that time of year again when your older children who graduated from LT may be home from college and want to visit with their past teachers. While we are happy to help facilitate this connection, please be aware and inform your older children that they will need to follow the following guidelines:

  • 🪪Have an acceptable ID

  • 📆Make an appointment w/ teacher (only during teachers' conference period)

  • 🤝Staff member greets student visitor in front office and escorts back to front office at end of visit.

  • NO Alumni visits on Tuesday May 20, 2025

  • Student alumni will NOT be allowed to visit during lunch.

  • Student alumni should NOT be walking the hallways without a staff member escort

Submit Your Roof of Residency

Families of secondary students should submit Proof of Residency by May 23, 2025.

  • Secondary students submitting PORs after the deadline may not receive their schedule prior to the start of school.

  • Schedules will only be released for students who have completed the annual registration process, submitted a valid POR and have no holds on campus.

Two steps to complete 25-26 registration:

  1. Annual Returning Registration: You must complete this or your student will not be able to start on the first day of school (August 13, 2025).

  1. Proof of Residency: Please upload a copy of your most recent Proof of Residency (water, gas or electric statement only). (Visit www.friscoisd.org/about/enrollment/proof-of-residency)

If you are submitting an affidavit, both the guardian and the homeowner must be present at the school to meet with an Assistant Principal. Email the Data Clerk at slaglea@friscoisd.org to request an appointment. It is important to note that the deadline to submit a valid Proof of Residency is May 23, 2025 for secondary students to view their schedule on the first release date. Secondary students submitting Proof of Residency after the deadline may not receive their schedule prior to the start of school.

Transferring to another FISD campus: Please complete the annual returning registration and upload your “New” proof of residency and we will take care of the transfer for you.

Not returning to Lebanon Trail or FISD next school year: Please complete the annual returning registration and indicate where your student will be attending so we can send official records.

If you’re leaving Lebanon Trail or FISD, please make sure all school items are returned before departure. (Chromebook, library books, textbooks, sport uniforms, etc)

Haven’t registered yet? It’s not too late! Learn more about registration for 2025-26.

WHAT SHOULD MY SENIOR WEAR?

The studio will provide a black graduation robe and a green stole for the photo. We do not use photos that include graduation cords or NHS stoles (You may take photos that include those for your own personal use but the yearbook does not publish them). For females, please wear a shirt with an open neck, as crew necks are visible beneath the gown. For males, a crew neck is fine and students do not need to provide their own dress shirt and tie. The studio will provide this.

Congratulations to Amey Shah for earning the prestigious Eagle Scout rank, Troop 181. For his Eagle Scout project, he organized and hosted a community blood drive in collaboration with Carter BloodCare. The event had 25 donors sign up, including 16 first-time donors, with 9 deferred due to medical reasons. This project had a meaningful and potentially life-saving impact on the community.

In addition to this achievement, Amey has also completed his Associate of Science degree from Collin College while earning his high school diploma. He will be attending Loyola University Chicago in the fall to pursue a major in Biology.

Congratulations to Addie Salvosa and Yurim Min on their placement at the UIL state competition. Yurim placed 4th in Ready Writing Event and Addie placed 5th in the Copy Editing Event.

Graduation Arrival Details

Please see the Class of 2025 Newsletter emailed out yesterday for all detailed information about graduation.

Students please be at Lebanon Trail by 3:45pm dressed and ready to go.

Graduation Attire

  • DO NOT write or draw on your graduation cap! This is an FISD rule.

  • Graduates may only wear FISD-approved graduation attire and regalia including the campus-approved cap and gown and campus-approved cords and stoles.

  • Non-FISD approved stoles, leis, cords and/or any other non-FISD-approved outerwear are not permitted at graduation ceremonies.

  • Caps and/or other FISD-approved regalia and/or attire may not be decorated or amended in any way that disrupts uniformity amongst graduates. For example, a student may wear their personal jewelry or a small pendant, but may not wear a jacket, shawl, etc. that would make the student appear distractingly dissimilar to their graduating peers.

  • All items that don’t conform to the above guidelines will be confiscated when students check in at the Ford Center and it is the responsibility of the student to collect those items during diploma pick-up immediately following commencement ceremonies. Lebanon Trail is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Graduation ticketing emails were sent to Seniors yesterday at 5pm. If you or your student have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Springer at springes@friscoisd.org.
