The GOHS Choir Program is excited to invite you to our final concert of the year, Pop Showcase! If any of you remember last year, we did a similar concert, with dancing and singing to Broadway and musical show tunes. This year, we are focusing on the Pop genre of yesterday and today.

What is Show Choir? Show Choir is performance based not only on singing, but dancing-- and sometimes acting!-- too. If you have attended our other events this year, they are very different from this final spring show. Students will be singing songs by The Beatles, Queen, Billy Joel, and so much more. You will not want to miss out!

Here are the details:

What: Pop Showcase

Who: Anyone is invited! You can buy tickets here for $7.

When: Friday, May 29 @7pm. Doors open at 6:30pm. We are hoping to end between 8:45pm

and 9pm

Can't make it to the concert or interested in supporting in another way? Get your sugar up and join us at Somi Somi (26460 Ynez Rd Suite #B, Temecula, CA 92591) Wednesday, 5/27/26 from 3-9pm for some delicious soft-serve and taiyaki!

MISSION To bring the community together to honor and praise our local high school seniors for demonstrating character, integrity, love of learning, involvement in school activities, athletics, and community service. Club Renewal Information!

If your club has been an official GOHS club both this school year and last school year, you are eligible for a club renewal. Club applications get super busy at the beginning of the school year, and it may take a while for your club to get up and running. However, with club renewals your club can get completely approved before the end of this school year.

The process will be very similar to normal club approvals. If you are a senior, you are welcome to guide your future club officers through the application process, but next year's officers should be handling this process since it is an application for the club that they will be running next year.

The Google Form to apply for a renewal will not be sent out until May 11th and will be due on May 25th, but you can start the process now!

Step 1: Check that your club is eligible for a renewal. Look for your club on this spreadsheetLinks to an external site.. Only clubs on this sheet can renew. If we made a mistake and you believe your club should be eligible, please let us know at 1000066803@tvusd.us.

Step 2: The future officers of your club can add a slide to the new Club SlideshowLinks to an external site.. Please add your slides in alphabetical order. Slides should be neat and creative and showcase your club. You may reuse your club's slide from the old slideshowLinks to an external site., but make sure it is updated.

Step 3: Your future officers can print out and start collecting signatures on the Club ConstitutionLinks to an external site.. You only need the first three signatures for now, the last three come after approval. The "Club Officer" signature MUST be from one of NEXT year's club officers, not a current officer.

Step 4: On May 11th, the Club Application will open. Your club advisor (NOT a student) will need to fill this out, but you can help them complete it.

Step 5: Finally, the future club president(s) will need to attend the club renewal meeting in the WSB room on May 28th at 8am. Do not be late. Bring a physical copy of your signed Club Constitution to the meeting.

There are no makeups or exceptions for club renewals. If your club is unable to complete the club renewal process, you will need you apply at the beginning of next year through the normal application process.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns please reach out to 1000066803@tvusd.us.
