Good Evening Tigers,
This is Noel Keener, the proud principal of Ragsdale High, with this week's updates and your LAST Tiger Times of the 24-25 school year!
It was a wonderful week celebrating our class of 2025 with our Senior Sunset and Graduation! We wish our graduates the very best as they move on to their next adventure.
We will have SUMMER SCHOOL this summer! Summer school will start June 24 and spaces are limited. Our summer school team will reach out to invite students now that grades are finalized. Speaking of grades, report cards will be sent out by June 18. Please be on the lookout for your child's final grades!
GCS will operate on on a 4 day work week. Offices will be open from 8am until 5pm Monday through Thursday, except on Holidays. On June 19 GCS will be closed in honor of Juneteenth.
Parents of the 2026 seniors: we have a new school photographer (CADY) for school photos! Summer senior photo dates are being finalized and will be announced soon. Please watch for our dates on our social media and website!
As we are winding down this school year, we are already working and planning for next school year!
We will have Freshman Orientation on August 7. See our website to sign up your rising freshman! Open house for the 2025-2026 school year will be held August 19. More information will become available closer to the date.
Over the summer, GCS will be moving away from Powerschool to Infinite Campus. Please see information in your child's report card about how you will be able to continue to monitor your child's grades and attendance!
Families we want to THANK YOU for a great school year. It has been our honor to partner with you in educating your child. We look forward to improving even more next year!
We will communicate over the summer to keep you updated on schedules, pictures and events. We are here if you need us until then!
Thank you, have a great summer and, as always, TIGER PRIDE!
