New Year, New Principal!
A Message from Mr. Haroldson
Dear Superior High School Families,
My Name is Ryan Haroldson and I am honored and privileged to be the new Principal at Superior High School. I am so excited for the opportunity to work with your kids during the day, to see them excel in their co curricular activities, and ultimately to help prepare them for their post secondary plans.
I joined Superior High School with nearly 15 years as an administrator in the Superior District. I was an Assistant Principal at Superior Middle School from 2011-2014. After that, I served as Principal at Great Lakes Elementary for the last 11+ years. I am thrilled to continue my career in Superior.
I anticipate a great 2026! I look forward to meeting you and working with you for the purpose of supporting our students' growth and celebrating their achievements together. Please feel free to reach out or say 'hello' if you see me at upcoming school events. Go Spartans!
Sincerely,
Ryan Haroldson, Principal
Superior High School

Stick it to Cancer - January 20

New Year, New Resolution to - Get into Better Habits
Get into better sleeping habits. Teens need 8 to 9 hours' sleep a night. Poor sleep in young people is linked with mental health problems, reduced school attendance, and more risk-taking behaviors. Sleep-deprived adolescents are also less likely to retain new information. Here are some tips to get in extra Zs, and start back at school with a fresh brain and healthier habits.
Make Attendance a Priority
We want our Spartans in school and on time every day! Good attendance not only helps students be more successful in school, but it also helps develop habits that will carry through to college and work place. Click the image to view more ways why attendance is important.

- What is something you would like to work on about yourself in the new year?
- If you could redo one moment from 2025, what would it be?
- What is one time in 2025 when you felt pride for yourself?
