Hastings Bond/Budget May 1, 2025
May 1, 2025
TO: Hastings Families and Staff
FROM: William S. McKersie, Ph.D., Superintendent of Schools
May has arrived, complete with sunshine and blossoms, and the promise of an upbeat close to the school year. We are less than a month away from the Budget vote (May 20) and two months away from the Bond vote (June 17). Last night the PTSA/SEPTA hosted a Superintendent’s Forum focused on the Budget and Bond.
Link to last night’s presentation can be found here: PTSA/SEPTA Sponsored Budget/Bond Forum - April 30, 2025. Please take a moment to review the document for the latest information on both the Budget and Bond. You will note that we have included images of the proposed Bond work. These will be updated shortly with full color renditions. We also share a series of testimonials that are being pushed out via social media.
