Riverview HighSchoolFebruary 1, 2024

It's going to be a fabulous February at RCHS...

As you'll see in this month's newsletter, we have some important dates and fun events coming up at RCHS. We're well into 2nd trimester and are proud of all that our students are accomplishing in and out of the classroom. We're continuing to provide after school tutoring by our highly qualified teachers in the library Monday through Thursday from 2:45 - 3:45 and encourage all students who need additional help or just a quiet place to work to attend.

Please take a moment to fill out the Parent Perception Survey if you haven't already done so. Your input helps guide our decisions and gives us valuable insight into what we're doing well and where we can grow. We cherish our opportunity to work with your kids and are grateful for your voice and time.

Finally, we hope to see you at Parent / Teacher Conference on February 7 from 5-7 in the gymnasium. Teachers and support staff will be available in case you have needs or concerns for you student. We hope that it's a great month ahead. Go Pirates!

This competition-style event will be judged by some of your RCHS teachers and will involve audience participation voting for the "crowd favorite." Admission is $5 and refreshments will be provided before the show and during intermission! This is a family-friendly affair, so bring the kids, grandma, grandma, Aunt Judy, and Uncle Joe! We hope to see you there!"

A heartwarming hockey game for our staff & students...

Huge thanks to our United Hockey team (Riverview & Cabrini) for hosting a special night for their teachers. Players chose an educator that has made an impact on them to give their jersey to. Our teachers were so proud to wear their player's jersey to school and to the game that night, and were still beaming the next day...if you need proof see the smiles below (or Facebook!)
