Our Annual Back to School Rally

We held our annual Back to School Rally on July 18, 2025, in celebration of our new school year. Over 1,000 teachers, administrators, and staff were in attendance to show their school spirit, compete for the spirit stick, and enjoy entertainment like a live D.J. and inflatable obstacle bull. Congratulations to our 2025-2026 spirit stick winners: Red Sands Elementary, Ricardo Estrada Middle School, and Horizon High School.

The energy at the rally was electric! We are grateful to our host Isabella Martinez from KVIA and our motivational speaker Fernando “Grizz” Montejano from 93.1 KISS FM's Iris & Grizz in the Morning. Parent and Family Engagement at Clint ISD

We value Parent & Family Engagement (PFE) at our schools and believe that family support plays a powerful role in a child’s academic success and growth. Click on the Parent & Family Resources section for tools and strategies to equip you to be active partners in your child’s learning journey.

Schools will host activities throughout the year aimed at providing families with information to help children succeed. We invite you to attend the annual Title I meeting during Open House at your child’s school. If you are interested in volunteering your time to help plan activities and/or evaluate our parent programs, please consider joining a parent committee at your child’s school. We would like to send a big shoutout to all of our incredible school district custodians! Thank you for all your hard work cleaning and sprucing up our schools during the summer months. We appreciate everything you do to make our learning environments safe and welcoming!

Texas Passes New House Bill 1481

The Texas Legislature passed House Bill 1481, which was signed into law by Governor Greg Abbott. This new law prohibits students from using personal cell phones, smartwatches, and other non-instructional communication devices during the school day in all public schools. Clint ISD will comply with this new law. Please help us by informing your child of this new expectation. Thank you for your support. If you have questions, please contact your child's campus.

Congratulations to W.D. Surratt Elementary Counseling

Congratulations! Perla Esparza & Abril Ceniceros earned a Recognized ASCA Model Program Award for their school counseling program at W.D. Surratt Elementary. This is the first RAMP school in Clint ISD history.

The RAMP award is a national recognition awarded by the American School Counselor Association to schools with exemplary school counseling programs that align with the ASCA National Model framework. These schools are recognized for demonstrating a commitment to students and the school counseling profession.
