October is here, and our town is turning into Halloween, TX! πŸŽƒπŸ‘» With cooler mornings, fall colors, and plenty of spooky fun in the air, there’s so much to look forward to this month at NRE.

As we settle into the season, don’t forget that Reflections submissions are due this month β€” we can’t wait to see the creativity and imagination our students have to share! 🎨✨ And as October comes to a close, we’ll lace up our sneakers for our Fun Run, bringing our NRE community together for a day of fun, fitness, and school spirit. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’™

We’re grateful for every student, family, and staff member who makes NRE such a warm, creative, and joyful place to learn. Here’s to a month filled with learning, laughter, creativity, connection, and a little Halloween magic! πŸŽƒπŸβ€οΈ

Whether your child loves to draw, write, dance, compose music, take photos, or make videos, Reflections is a wonderful opportunity to share their unique perspective and talents. OCT 30-FUN RUN

Fun Run Fundraiser

Starting October 20 through Oct 30, ending with a FUN RUN during the school day

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ Get Ready to Run, NRE! πŸπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

It’s time for one of our favorite NRE traditions β€” the Fun Run! This exciting school-wide event brings all of our students together for a day of fun, school spirit, and fundraising for our NRE PTA.

Every student has the opportunity to help their class and grade level by collecting donations and raising as much money as possible. Every donation makes a difference, and we’re excited to see what our NRE students can accomplish when we work together!

Students will be working together to reach school wide goals and earn fun rewards throughout the week of Fun Run. These will include dress up days (simple things they can put together with what they have at home) and opportunities to have their teachers do silly activities.

πŸͺ™ Coin Collection Challenge: October 26–30

But that’s not all! Get ready to fill those coin jars! During the week of October 26–30, students will participate in a special coin collection challenge. The grade level that collects the most coins will earn a special prize!πŸ†πŸ’°

πŸŽ‰ Come Cheer Them On!

Parents and families are invited to come out and cheer on their students during the Fun Run! Each grade/class will have a dedicated run time, and those times will be announced soon. We can’t wait to fill the sidelines with NRE families, encouragement, and school spirit!

Thank you for supporting our students and the NRE PTA. Let’s make this year’s Fun Run our biggest and most exciting one yet! πŸβ€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

PTA Meetings PTA Meetings

According to our PTA bylaws, we only have to meet 3x a year-August, March and April. Our next general PTA meeting will be in February. We know parents and students are busy with activities and life, so we try to keep our meetings to a minimum and communicate as much as we can through monthly newsletters and our social media pages (please make sure you are following us). We will send more information about our next general meeting as soon as we can.
